Program Specialist for SI and Learning Strategies
Leslie Woolson oversees the Supplemental Instruction and Learning Strategies teams at the Center for Academic Program Support. She received a Master’s in Counseling from the University of New Mexico and a B.A. in Linguistics from Arizona State University. She will be pursuing a PhD in Counselor Education as of Fall 2017 at UNM. Leslie has worked in the field as a group facilitator in an in-patient substance abuse clinic, and as a counselor for children ages 4 – 10 specializing in Play Therapy. Leslie uses her unique skill-set to address the needs of a diverse learning community. She is passionate about advocacy and leadership development.
