Aeron Haynie is the Executive Director of the Center for Teaching and Learning and Associate Professor of English. She received her PhD in English from the University of Florida. She has been a professor for over 20 years, won numerous teaching awards, and co-edited two books on teaching and learning, “Exploring Signature Pedagogies: Approaches to Teaching Disciplinary Habits of Mind” and a second volume, “Exploring More Signature Pedagogies” as well as publications on Victorian literature. Before joining UNM, she served as the director of the Center for the Advancement of Teaching and Learning at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay, directed the state-wide Wisconsin Teaching Fellows and Scholars Program, and was chair of the English department at UW-Green Bay.
