Frances is the Student Success Supervisor of the Writing and Languages team at CTL. She oversees a diverse team of tutors who provide writing and language support to undergraduates at UNM. She has previously worked in various roles at CTL, including as a student manager of the writing team, as a writing and linguistics tutor, and as a graduate writing consultant and dissertation coach. She has earned bachelor’s degrees in English, Spanish, and Linguistics, as well as a master’s degree in Linguistics. She is currently a PhD candidate in the UNM Linguistics Department, where she studies the development and distribution of dialects of English in northern New Mexico.
