Anxious about starting graduate school? Don’t know what to expect or where to go for answers?

Join us for the JumpStart Orientation for new graduate students! Hear from current Master’s and PhD students about what they wish they knew before starting graduate school and their strategies for success. And learn about campus resources, from finding funding with grants to enjoying community and university events. 

The JumpStart is designed to complement departmental orientations, GA orientation, as well as the International Graduate Student Orientation, which takes place in the morning the same day. We will be offering it remotely via a Zoom session. The JumpStart will feature a series of speakers offering key resources and breakout room Q&A sessions on the graduate student experience.
